Windows 7 Installation Instructions

  • Right click on the installation file Dyno64setup.zip, select "Extract all" click browse and choose a destination folder (e.g. Desktop)

  • If this creates a folder, then double click to open the folder.

  • Double click Dyno64setup.exe to run the install programme.

  • In the box titled "An unidentified Programme wants access to your computer" Click Allow > Click Continue.

  • In the box "Do you wish to create icons and folders" click Yes.
    In the box Install Drivers "SPA Dyno V5 USB Driver Set", click install (if required, else Cancel)*.
    In the box Install Drivers "SPA Dyno V6 USB Driver Set", click install (if required, else Cancel)*.
    In the box "Setup successful" click OK.

  • If using a USB interface, plug this in and wait for Windows 7 to finish installing the drivers.



Windows 8 Installation Instructions

  • Depending on the browser (Chrome, Firefox, Explorer) setting, the file may be downloaded to your "Downloads" (or somewhere else).

  • Click the file browser from the "Desktop" screen. This is the folder icon next to the "Start" window icon.

  • Double click on the Downloads folder (or wherever its downloaded to) in the "This PC" view to open the folder. Find the zip file "DynoV6.4setup"

  • Right click on the DynoV6.4setup file and select "Extract All", then click on the "Extract" button. The DynoV6.4setup installer file will now open.

  • Double click on the file DynoV6.4setup.exe to run it (Depending on your PCs view extension setting, this may just look like "DynoV6.4setup" with the .exe hidden)

  • Click "Yes" to Use Account Control

  • In the box "Do you wish to create icons and folders" click Yes.
    In the box Install Drivers "SPA Dyno V5 USB Driver Set", click install (if required, else Cancel)*.
    In the box Install Drivers "SPA Dyno V6 USB Driver Set", click install (if required, else Cancel)*.
    In the box "Setup successful" click OK.

  • If using a USB interface, plug this in and wait for Windows 8 to finish installing the drivers.

  • To find the SPA dyno V6 programme, click the "Start" window to go to the "Start" screen and look for the SPA icon with "Dyno6.4" on it. Click the icon to start it.

  • The programme will now run on the "Desktop" screen.

  • If you wish to create a shortcut on your desktop, right click on the SPA icon on the taskbar and select "Pin this programme to the taskbar".

Note: If a window title bar shows "not responding" this usually means you just need to wait longer for it to finish.

*Note: If the USB driver set window does not appear after a minute or so, try pressing Alt+Tab to see if the USB Driver set window is hiding behind the main window.
